Imaam and beards

Assalamualaikum Mufti

Is it permissible for a Hafez who:

1) does not have a beard to read Taraweeh or any other Salaah as Imaam in the Masjid

2) one with a face beard but not fist length to do the same.

3) if this is not the case, please provide hadeeth/proof of this since there is a lot of tension around this topic and I am uncertain of the correct Hadeeth/proof to address when the topic arises.

Private answer

1) It is not permissible for one who trims the beard to less than a fist length or shaves the beard to officially lead the Salaat.

2) The one who shaves or trims the beard to less than a fist length is a Faasiq and a Faajir (open sinner).
