Imaam and beards

Question

Is it permissible for a Hafez with a face beard but not fist length to read Taraweeh or any other Salaah as Imaam in the Masjid
if this is not the case, please provide hadeeth/proof of this since there is a lot of tension around this topic and I am uncertain of the correct Hadeeth/proof to address when the topic arises.

The one who shaves or trims the beard to less than a fist length is a Faasiq and a Faajir (open sinner).
