As-salaam- alaikum. I would like to know some things of Salaah. Fard Salaah: can you explain to me how is it read in the second rakaat? I know we read Surah Faathia and “must we read a surah after that or not” please help me.
Nafl Salaah: how is it performed with Surah Faathia in every rakaat and then a surah follow or not? Please help me.
If you can break it down for me (female)
Shukraan

Only in the first 2 Rakaats of the Fardh of Fajr, Zohr, Asr, Maghrib, and Esha, you will read Surah Fatiha and another Surah after that. Fardh of Fajr is only 2 Rakaats.

In all Nafl Salaats you will read Surah Fatiha and a Surah after that in all Rakaats.
