Afriend of mine recently handed over his house to a religious institution in Azaadville, the Madressa offered to build him an outbuilding on the same property for him to reside in ,in turn they will collect the rent from the main house.my friend who in his religious zeal wishes not to have many worldly possessions has entered into debate with me as to his so called rightly guided decision.my friend is single, has not performed haj and has no set income.he also has nieces.my question to the honorable mufti is that can a institution of Islamic scholars could not have advised him differently or in they haste to acquire the house overlooked a number of factors.
