I need to know the following please:

How are days counted Islamically? So if bleeding begins on a Thursday after Asr Salaat on the 16th of a month, will ten days fall on Saturday the 26th or Sunday (27th) at Asr time? If bleeding continues(yellowish color) till the Sunday, then is the extra day considered Nifaas?

Can a woman remove facial hair (upper lip) during Haiz? And what is the ruling on cutting of nails during Haiz and Nifaas?
