Going to the cemetery on eid day

On Eid day we all go to the cemetery. I know one should try and go once a week. But is there any significance on going on Eid day?

There is no significance of going on Eid Day, The rule is stated in Fatawa Azizzia wherein Shah Abdul Azizz Muadith Dehlevi (A.R) states, that any good action which can be done at any time is good and laudable but once stipulated and restricted by the time factor, then it becomes an innovation (Bid'at). And he states the e.g. of visiting of graves, a good action, once stipulated turns into a Bidat. The day of Eid is a joyous occasion, not to mourn for the dead.
