. Dearest Mufti
. My father-in-law was staying with us. He is separated from my mother-in-law. He has taken all that belonged to him. While he was staying here he paid for a cupboard in their room that is built in. What I would like to know is that I want to give him that amount of money but he does not pay zakaah so can I give this amount that was paid for the cupboard as Zakaah intention on his behalf? He is a very difficult person to communicate with therefore can I do it with out him knowing? Is it valid as Zakaah?
