Getting angry and iritated

Question ID: 27531

Asalaamu Alaikum Mufti

I make all my salaahs and love sitting with the Quran. I try to be a good son, husband and father. I respond when my parents need me and do a lot for my wife and kids (including my 2 step children).

I’m a happy person, but I sometimes get angry when they or other people iritate me or they displease me. I then raise my voice and then I fail to prove a point and have a breakdown in communication. Due to this, I sometimes cause a distance between myself and my loved ones.

Can Mufti please give me some advice?

You are human. Increase recitation of Durood. When found with a situation, if  standing sit. If sitting lie down. If cannot control, make wudhu. If cannot - leave area to cool off. The above works. Think before speaking.
