Friend money

Slmz. This is really URGENT maaf. My friend is a temp @ my work & gets pd per hr. I am permanently employed here. She could not work 1 day & I stood in for her. She says she will claim & give me the money. Is this halaal for me as it was also in my work time.She says the company would have pd someone anyway as their business went on as usual.Plz I need to know before she claims it.
