Forgiveness and curses

Assalamu Alaikum Respected Mufti,

1) Does Mufti know of a hadith or any Islamic reference to forgiving the people who hurt you?

2)If one is justified in uttering a curse and does so, is there any punishment for that person?

3) If a child hears about the benefits of forgiving people who hurt them and says ‘I will forgive whoever hurts me’, then grows up and utters a justified curse, will that person be punished?

1) There are many Ahaadith on forgiving people. The Life of Rasulullaah (S.A.W) displays many of these instances.
