Esa (AS)’s Role

Question ID: 14091

Few questions:

1. What was Esa (AS) main role according to Islam?
2. Why was he given the most amount of powers/miracles and could do things no other prophets could do?
3. If Muhammad (SAW) is the main prophet/founder of Islam why wasn’t he resurrected and come down to fight the evil on the day of Judgement?
4. Galatians 1:8 reads “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse”. So if people of the book after the Quraan was revealed were told to believe this, will they all get punished even if they followed this book to the tee? That’s exactly how the Quraan was revealed to us and this was written before it happened.

These are some of the questions a Christian has asked me.

1) To preach Tauheed, Risalaat and Aakhiraat. To inform of coming of Nabi (S.A.W).
2) The miracle of our Nabi (S.A.W) are more in number and better in quality. There is curse in not adhering to the teaching of Hadhrat Esa (A.S.) i.e. Tauheed
