Regarding an engagement, Is the boy allowed to put the ring or someone from the boy side eg.like his sister or sister in law must put the ring for the girl? What is the correct ruling in islam for the engagement?

In Islaam there is no such concept as 'engagement' ring putting as described above in the way of the enemies of Islaam.
