Please help me in making a decision.
We work in an area that does not have any Halaal outlets that are certified by Sanha. There is however, a Muslim owned Chicken Licken down the road from us, and some of the brothers are under the impression that we should not even consider eating there, as Chicken Licken have no certification.I have been to the outlet yesterday, but could not find the owner, but there was a delivery truck there, and they were delivering the chickens to the outlet. I asked if i could have a look around just to make sure, and everything that was delivered was certified Halaal, some things by Sanha and some by MJC. The delivery note was made out to the owner and the manager of the store, who are Muslims.
Some of the brothers ate from the outlet, and some refrained, as they had doubt.
My question is “Is it permissible for us to eat there? I know that in todays times, we the Muslims unfortunately, would do our own brothers down for worldly gain, but , is it ok for us to doubt our Muslim brother?
