Disrespecting The Beard

A friend, who is a practising muslim and has a beard according to sunnah, showed me a picture of a guy who had taken a passport sized photo of the back of his head because he was asked to ‘attest the photo on the backside’. The photo was meant to be a joke highlighting the simplicity of the guy in the photo. While we were laughing, I noticed that the guy had a beard and said ‘he has a beard’. I mentioned this and we laughed some more.
It’s an unfortunate stereotype in pakistan that people with beards are considered ‘maulvi’, simple in the ways of the world and narrow-minded. My pointing out of the beard was because of this stereotype and disrespect was not intended. It should also be noted that I donot believe the stereotype to be true. I know the beard is the sunnah and therefore worth respecting. I regret saying what I did.
Did I commit blasphemy of any kind, was it kufar? Does this make me a kafir? I have repented, do I have to repeat nikah?
I am constantly worried about committing blasphemy, kufar and shirk. I worry excessively about the validity of my nikah. I have been diagnosed having OCD. What should I do to get rid of these thoughts.

Beard is Wajib (compulsory) and the Sunnat of the Ambiyaa (A.S.).
You have not become a Kaafir. Your Nikah is intact.
Associate with the pious . Avoid these stray thoughts.
