Cutting/shaving newborn babies hair

Dear Muftie Saheb ,

Hope you are keeping well .

Please kindly advise regarding the cutting /shaving of new born babies hair .

Does the hair have to be cut on the 7th day. Can the hair be cut with a machine or does it need to be shaved of .
If it must be shaved and hasn’t been , must we shave it still .
