Children given shares during lifetime

Question ID: 27776

. Dear Mufti

I need assistance with regards to Inheritance PLEASE.

My late father in law had two wives. One daughter from the first wife. After the death of the first wife , he gave the only daughter ( an adult) whatever the mother possessed as well including what was rightfully his share.

He re married and had 11 children ( 6 females and 5 males)
During his life time one of the sons wanted to go on his own and requested that he be given his share. My father in law gave him his share while he was still alive and there are witnesses to this effect. ( nothing was written down and everything was done verbally).

We would like know how the remaining shares aare to be distributed?
Do the eldest daughter from the first marriage and the 1 son from the second marriage get inheritance from the estate? ( keeping in mind that their inheritance was given in the lifetime of my father in law)

The property is about to be sold – how should the shares be distributed?
The son who was already given his inheritance about 25 years ago now wants another share from the estate. Is he entitled to this?

What happens to the daughter that was given her share about + 35 years ago?
Is she entitled to anything?

Please advise a s soon as possible

There is no distribution of estate officially in the life of a person. Estate distribution takes place on death not before. Theres those who got, received gifts. They are entitled to receive from Estate.
