Bookkeeper for an insurance company

I recently was employed by a company that administors insurance policies in the motor vehicle industry for some insurance companies.
i am employed as the bookeeper.

1. is it okay to work in insurance industry

i have noted that they take excess funds and invest it to earn interest.

2. is it okay to work for a company that earns interest on its excess funds?
