Biiddah resulting in bad grades at school

Question ID: 26391

I am in matric and I have no desire at all to do well at school. I leave the learning for tests, exams, orals etc. to the last minute. The organization of my items and my ‘time management skills’ are also bad. Hence, my results are poor and deteriorating. This was not always the case. My results, Alhamdulillah, were very good two years ago.

However, I had indulged in biddah on both the ‘salafi’ and ‘deviant-sufi’ sides around that time. Ever-since, my school condition got worse. I feel this is perhaps the reason of my worsening condition at school. I still have an inclination towards some deviant sufi shaykhs and their ways. I do realize that is is wrong though.

Please advice Hadhrat Mufti Saheb.

Shun, discard, leave all deviant groups. Just be regular in Salaat with Jamaat. Set out a schedule, use a time-table, draw a proper chart of what you are going to do and when and how.
Stick to it. Make Duaa and Taubah and Istikhfaar daily. Read 1 Ruku Quraan daily. Avoid useless company. You will get progress.
