baking for celebrations

Making Cakes are quite a popular business, and I was wondering what the advice is regarding baking for celebrations? I realize that it is halal to cater for eid, work, and gifts.
what about corporate year end celebrations, or events
what about birthdays? and can one use a doll incorporated into the cake for a little girl?
please advise if there are any restraints
