Backbiting

Think about the sin, the accountability, and the loss of one's rewards from good actions on the Day of Judgement. Think: there is no benefit in backbiting. Make Istikfaar and Taubah instead of talking ill. Keep silent or talk good. Avoid people who back-bite.
