Are shares from BEE halaal?

Question

As Salaamu Alaikum.
I work for a conventional bank and was given Black Empowerment Shares (BEE)
1. Are the shares halaal?
2. Are dividends paid from these shares halaal?
3. If i sell the shares, are the proceeds thereof halaal? & can i use these proceeds to pay off the interest on an interest bearing homeloan?
4. Is it permissable to work for a non-islamic bank.
Please explain.

1) If what they buy and sell is Jaiz to do so in Shariat.
