Assalamu alaikum,
Respected Mufti Sahab, this is with reference to the question no.11852 dated 25/9/2014. Alhumdulillh you have answered the question and I had my doubts cleared. But here I want to ask one more question. I am a male and I said that I want to do qurbani and also aqeeqah of mine and of my brother. So the question is how will the shares for qurbani and aqeeqah be taken. For my qurbani I have to take One share and for my aqeeqah, do I have to take or calculate one share or two shares in the cow. As I have heard that for a boy(male) either two goats or two shares in a big animal. What is correct. Because the method I have mentioned in question no.11852 there I have written that I am taking one share for my qurbani and one share for my aqeeqah and same for my brother, but I came to know that one has to take two share for aqeeqah for a male.

2) Secondly, I had bought a cow from halal money and there are other cows also in the same compound of other people. But when someone feeds their cow they also give some fodder to my cow also. But I know of a person who buys fodder for his cow from haram money and he also gives my cow the fodder which he brings for his cow. Some times I am not there and he feeds the cow, so will my cow become haram on account of eating the food bought from haram money. some times I mix the fodder which I bring from my halal money in the tub where there is fodder already given by that person. This is really indispensable. As how many times one may stop this. It is not possible all the time. So what is the way out.Does the animal also becomes haram?

Jazzak Allah!

1) Qurbaani is 1 share. Aqeeqah is 2 shares for a male and 1 share for a female (in big animals like a cow).

2) No, your cow will not become Haraam.
