Age to send son to study islam

Question

i always made duaa that if Allah blessed us with a child he/she will go in the path of Allah. i want him to become a great scholar and flag bearer of Islam, please tell me at what age and where do we send him for studies.

Bring him up in a good Islaamic enviroment without pressure. Later on we can then advise.
