Asalamualaykum to you and ur team

Please relate to me whether during the time of Our beloved Nabi (S.A.W) did his followers read namaaz sitting on chairs for whatever reasons.
Was this allowed or practiced?

My enquiry is today many people use chairs to read namaaz however these are the very same people who can stand for lengthy times after Salah in the parking lots & chat and at socializing events…

When is it really permissible to use chairs or should a person sit on the more than comfortable carpets that our Masjids have these days…

Allah knows best .. May Allah guide me and all to adhere to his command and the way best shown to us by our Nabi (S.A.W)

May Allah reward you abundantly and give you a healthy and long life..Ameen

No chairs used in the best of eras.
Chair usage must be discouraged.
Our Masjids are soon going to look like churches.
Encourage sitting on the floor.
