What is meant by no bain stipulated?

jazakallah for your answer and taking the time to answer my question.
with regards to question 6154 I asked whether or not I was divorced from my wife and you said as long as we reconciled and no “bain” was stipulated we are not living in haraam, mufti saab what do you mean by no “bain” stipulated.
I’m sorry for asking so many questions its just that I dont know and I want to be safe.
