as salaam mu alai kum mufit saab.

Jaza ka allah for your advice and guidance in the past.

I have once again had an odd dream,

Part 1
.It happened last night, best I can remember either just before fajr or just after.
I see myself swallowed by whale. I am confused. I wake up in the whale and rest from what I can gather on its tongue. With me is a strange women. When I come to my senses in the dream, I realise I should not fear and remember the story of yunus a.s. after which I pray to allah while I am in the whale and advise this strange women to do the same. After while. I find myself being let go. I tumble out of the whale mouth alone. on my way out. I hurt myself on the whales teeth which look like human teeth, nothing serious, just a slight knock and wake up in a place I don’t. recognize. I wake there after.

Part 2,
I often get asked if I dream by friends. They go on explaining their dream of this and that etc. I don’t
. I inform them that I don’t. its like a blank. They find it very strange that I don’t dream. But when I dream I usually dream things of things as mentioned above which happen very rarely.
Is there and islamic reason for not dreaming at all and when I do I have dreams like the above. very odd stuff.

You are neglecting the work of enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil due to worldly engagement. You can recover by reading the Du'aa which Hadhrat Yunus (A.S) read: 'La ila ha illa anta Subhanaka ini kuntum minath thaw limeen'.

It is better not to dream or not to remember what has been dreamt.
