SURAH 21: SURAH: AMBIYAA
THE AMBIYAA

A SUMMARY OF THE SURAH
The central message of Surah Ambiyaa is that Allaah is the Only One Who has knowledge of all things in the heavens and the earth.

SURAH 22: SURAH HAJJ
THE HAJJ

A SUMMARY OF THE SURAH
Surah Hajj may be divided into the following two parts:
The first part is primarily concerned with refuting the beliefs of those who are convinced that others besides Allaah have the ability to do things by hidden means without Allaah’s help.
The second part refutes the actions of the Mushrikeen.
Thereafter, Allaah proceeds to permit Jihaad against the Mushrikeen and also promises victory for the Muslims.

SURAH 23: SURAH MU’MINOON
THE MU’MINOON

A SUMMARY OF THE SURAH
This Surah may be divided into two parts.
The first part mentions three factors that are conducive to salvation in the Aakhirah.
The second factor is to abstain from Shirk in one’s beliefs and deeds. The third factor is to abstain from all forms of injustice.

SURAH 24: SURAH NOOR
CELESTIAL LIGHT

A SUMMARY OF THE SURAH
Surah Noor can be divided into two parts. This part consists of the following topics:
The enmity of the Munaafiqeen towards Towheed, which started the evil propagating campaign.
In the second part the following subjects are discussed relating to three injunctions pertaining to social reform.

The main assertion of this Surah is that Allaah is the source of all blessings in this world and in the Aakhirah.

Rebuking the rejecters
Warning them of the grievous consequences they are bound to face in this world – [verses 5 and 6]

It provides details about how he preached to the people and how they rejected his message.

SURAH 29: SURAH ANKABOOT

Surah Ankaboot includes the central message of the Qur’aan (Towheed) together with two specific messages. The two specific messages are:

1. Hardships and difficulties will afflict the Mu’mineen.
2. Those who reject Towheed will not be able to escape Allaah’s punishment.

It is only when the Mu’mineen adhere to pure Towheed and live according to the injunctions of Islaam that Allaah will grant them the required assistance against their enemies.

The Surah proceeds to mention nine arguments to refute Shirk.

Allaah is The Only One Who has knowledge of these factors, Only. He should be summoned when in distress because only He can fulfill one’s needs.

SURAH 32: SURAH SAJDAH

Refuting the belief that any person’s intercession can overrule Allaah’s decision.

SURAH 33: SURAH AHZAAB
THE ARMIES

A SUMMARY OF THE SURAH
Surah is to” negate the following three false notions.
Then laws of guidance addressed to the Muslim public.
Then guidance given to the wives of Rasulullaah (SAW).

SURAH 34: SURAH SABA

A SUMMARY OF THE SURAH
The central theme of this part is the negation of anyone being able to alter Allaah’s decree by his own will.

SURAH 35: SURAH FAATIR
THE CREATOR

A BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE SURAH
This Surah primarily negates Shirk in tasarruf (division in duties).

SURAH 36: SURAH YAASEEN

A BRIEF SUMMARY Of THE SURAH
Allaah explains that the Qur’aan verifies the truthfulness of Rasulullaah (SAW).
Warns people about the Aakhirah.
Allaah speaks about the ingratitude of man.
Allaah proves the probability of Qiyaamah.

SURAH 37: SURAH SAAFFAAT
THOSE WHO STAND IN ROWS

A SUMMARY OF THE SURAH
Angels are all subservient to Allaah.
Shayaateen are driven with fiery stars from the heavens.

SURAH 38: SURAH SAAD
SAAD

A SUMMARY OF THE SURAH
It presents seven arguments to prove that even those whom the Mushrikeen regarded to be powerful intercessors are dependent on Allaah and can therefore do nothing without Allaah’s command.
Allaah then declares that even Rasulullaah (SAW) who was the greatest of men is but a bondsman of Allaah, who had also suffered many trials and difficulties.
The Surah describes the helplessness of the angels and the Jinn (with reference to their father Iblees).

All acts of worship are for Allaah alone thrice.

SURAH 40: SURAH MU’MIN
THE MU’MIN

A SUMMARY OF THE SURAH
The introduction of the Surah comprises of the following passages:
The Qur’aan is revealed by Allaah,
The fact that only obstinate and rebellious people will reject the Qur’aan.
