Ruqyah

Salaams Mufti Saheb. Please assist with question below.

Recently in South Africa, there was a visiting aamil who was assisting people in the treatment of sihr and jinn affliction through ruqyah . Part of his treatment approach was to capture the jinn against its will in the human body and convert the jinn if non-muslim. He was also running training courses for lay people wanting to learn ruqyah.

What is the view on the above? Jazakallah.
