KFC and Nandos

Salaams mufti sahib, i would like to know that if we are still allowed to eat from KFC and NANDOS as the branches in overport in durban are being advertised in the AL UMMAH newspaperas as halaal,this is very confusing and the ummat is being led astray.At the above branches you can see that men with kurtas and beards and women with cloaks and niqaab, they all go there to eat and it makes you wonder that these people are very islamicly orientated so it must be permissable that is why it is very confusing.
