Family of the deceased delaying in sorting out will

If someone passes away leaving behind a will for the resolution of his estate, and if that person left clear instructions to his family members before he passed away that the estate must be sorted out/distributed soon after the mayyit and that there should be no delays, but after his mayyit, his family do not distribute his assets etc, will there be any difficulty in the qabr or any sin for the person who passed away if his family delays this?

My grandfather’s estate was not resolved for a few years now. The family is now only attending to the matter and it has caused considerable tension between his sons and daughters. I had a dream recently in which he said that his “assets must be distributed”. He said this thrice. Does this mean anything?
