Does the birth of a new moon have an effect on peoples behaiour

i have a family member who picks an argument or fight with his wife atleast once a month. i followed this for the last 3 months and noticed that this occurs during the birth of the new moon. does the birth or full moon have an effect on peoples behaviour? if so , can you advise on what to read to rid him of this behaviour.
he is currently spending alot of money on counselling. Jazakallah.
