(1) Islaamic History Ummul Mu’mineen Hadhrat Maymoona (RA)
Hadhrat Maymoona bint Haarith (RA) was first married to Mas’ood bin Amr Thaqafi, but after being divorced from him, she married Abu Ruhm bin Abdul Uzza. After his death, reports indicate that Hadhrat Abbaas (RA) suggested that Rasulullaah (SAW) marry her. Consequently, when Rasulullaah (SAW) went to Makkah to perform the Qadhaa Umrah, Hadhrat Abbaas (RA) married her to Rasulullaah (SAW) at a place called Sarif for a a dowry of 500 Dirhams. By this union; Hadhrat Abbaas (RA) and Rasulullaah (SAW) were thus married to sisters. Hadhrat Maymoona (RA) had narrated 46 Ahadeeth, from which her proficiency in Fiqh can be ascertained. Hadhrat Aa’isha (RA) says that Hadhrat Maymoona (RA) possessed tremendous fear for Allaah and was very particular about maintaining good family relations. It was coincidental that in the year 51 A.H. Hadhrat Maymoona (RA) passed away at Sarif, the place where she was married. Her nephew Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Abbaas performed her Janaazah Salaah (RA).
(2) Rasulullaah (SAW)’s Miracle Finding a needle by the radiance of Rasulullaah (SAW)’s face
Hadhrat Aa’isha (RA) reports that she was once stitching one of her garments when she dropped the needle. Despite searching as hard as she could, she was unable to find it. Rasulullaah (SAW) then happened to enter the room and it was by the light from his radiant face that she found the needle.[Taareekh Dimishq Vol.3 Pg.310]
(3) A Fardh Imaan is a precondition for entry into Jannah
Rasulullaah (SAW) said, “When a person leaves this world in a condition that he believes in Allaah and in the Day of Qiyaamah, he will be told to enter Jannah through any one of its eight gates.”[Ahmad 98, from Hadhrat Umar (RA)]
(4) A Sunnah The Du’aa after Salaah
The following Du’aa should be recited after Salaah:

اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ وَعَذَابِ القَبْرِ

TRANSLATION: O Allaah! I seek Your protection from Kufr, poverty, and punishment in the grave.

[Nasa’ee 1348, from Hadhrat Abu Bakrah (RA)]

(5) An Important Act and its Virtue The reward for good intentions
Rasulullaah (SAW) said, “The person who purifies himself and proceeds from his home (with a good intention) will receive the reward of a person proceeding for Hajj. When he leaves to perform the Chaast Salaah, he will receive the reward of a person leaving for Umrah.”[Tabraani 7655, from Hadhrat Abu Umaamah (RA)]
(6) A Sin The punishment for those who argue about Allaah
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “Those who argue (with the Muslims) about their Rabb after He has been accepted (by them as their Rabb), their argument is useless before their Rabb. On them is (Allaah’s) wrath, and they will suffer a severe punishment”.[Surah Shura, verse 16]
(7) This World The life of this world is futility and play
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “The life of this world is mere futility and play (temporary and without true benefit). Without doubt, the life of the Aakhirah is true life (an existence of true happiness). If only they knew (If people understood this, they would not give preference to this world over the Aakhirah)”.[Surah Ankaboot, verse 64]
(8) The Aakhirah The condition of people on the Day of Qiyaamah
Rasulullaah (SAW) said, “On the Day of Qiyaamah, the sun shall be only a mile over the heads of people and its intensity will be magnified, causing the brains of people to boil in their skulls. According to their actions, people will be immersed in their perspiration on the Day of Qiyaamah. Some will be immersed up to their ankles, others up to their knees and there will be others whose perspiration will reach from their feet right up to their mouths and, like reins, it will go into their mouths.”[Ahmad 21682, from Hadhrat Abu Umaamah (RA)]

Rasulullaah (SAW) said that when a person experiences fever, he should treat it by reciting the following Du’aa when he takes a bath for three days:

بِسْمِ اللهِ اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنَّمَا اغْتَسَلْتُ رَجَاءَ شِفَائِكَ

وَتَصْدِيقَ نَّبِيِّكَ مَحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

TRANSLATION: I begin this bath in the name of Allaah. O Allaah! I am taking a bath with the hope that you cure me and with the conviction in the words of Your Nabi Muhammad (SAW).

(10) Advice from Rasulullaah (SAW)
Rasulullaah (SAW) said, “Always recite the Qur’aan because I swear by Allaah that the Qur’aan escapes (the memory) faster than a camel escapes its tethers.”[Bukhaari 5033, from Hadhrat Abu Moosa Ash’ari (RA)]
