Wanting to re-marry ex wife

Question ID: 19292

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Respected Mufti,

As a husband I uttered 2 takaqs in anger at the same time and accept it as counted. Refuse to give the 3rd as I love my women dearly. She went on to get a Fasaqh citing reasons which are false. No mediation took place, I was not informed that a Fasaqh was given , only found out in court during custody case. No investigation was done to prove her allegations . According to her we are separated , things have calm down and we are thinking of getting back together inshallah . We realized our actions were hastily and immature of us . We are both seeking advice of how to and if possible to get back together. What are the rules regarding our form of separation in terms of FASAQH & taking her back. I strongly believe that her reasons for seeking a Fasaqh are not in line with the shariah reasons of which I have researched extensively as per Shariah law.

I trust Mufti has got as much information from the above text to give us advice so we can complete this act of sunnah again and to protect us both from the Wrath of Allah inshallah …

Jazakallah for reading my question .

May Allah reward you abundantly and your outreach team as well.

Contest the ‘Fasq’ with the body that issued it. Get it repelled and nullified. Once that is done, she is your wife and you have ‘one’ Talaaq left.
