I went to visit a sikh gurdawara with my family on a company trip a few years ago. It was one of the places among a number of other places (such as a park) which we were to visit as a recreation. They made us cover our heads with an orange cloth and gave us a brief history about the place and some information about their religion.
Did this mere going to another relgion’s place of worship result in kufr ?

No. But one must go to such places where Kufr and Shirk are perpetrated.
Make Taubah and Istighfaar.
Do not repeat.
