Asslamu alaikum,
Respected Mufti Sahab, can one say Salam or greet people while eating, doing Wazu, reading Quran, when Azan is being said etc and can one reply to the Salam given at the above time and act? Some say not to, some say you may, some say one must not greet nor give reply to Salam while doing any act of Ibadat like doing Wuzu etc.

What is the correct masail so that one may act upon?

Jazzak Allah!

It is not necessary to reply to the Adhaan when:

1) when listening to a Deeni lecture,

2) When teaching/listening to a lesson of Deen,

3) When eating.

One should not reply to Salaam whilst eating or making Wudhu.
