Ramadham Mubarak, I pray you are well Mufti Sahib.
Question:
If a person has thoughts of kufr such as saying ‘yes to denouncing islam ‘.
The muslim man emails a Mufti saying that he gets thoughts of Kufr and the thoughts are
very strong that make him say ‘yes’ in his mind to these kufr thoughts.
After emailing the Mufti, he realises that although these strong kufr thoughts
make him say ‘yes’ in his mind, he has no intention of kufr when saying yes in his mind.
And has no intention of kufr when these strong kufr thoughts make him say ‘yes’ in his mind.
This, he realises after he has emailed the Mufti.
Does emailing the Mufti such a scenario in the first place make him a non muslim? And then later after emailing the Mufti realising that although these strong kufr thoughts make him say ‘yes’ in his mind,he has no intention of kufr. So there was no real need to write to the Mufti in the first place.
