Thinking that could lead to kufr

Question ID: 18567

I pray you are in the best of your health.

If a Muslim is thinking to himself about someone doing black magic on his food, roti, curry. So in his mind he thinks to himself that he is telling someone that a mufti/aalim has told him to put a tiny piece of roti with curry onto the floor and then the black magic done on the food won’t cause any affect/harm. Although in reality he hasn’t spoken to any mufti/aalim and no mufti/aalim has told him to do the above.

Does thinking the above make him a kaffir as only Allah can stop everything? Jazakallah

It does not make him a Kaafir but one must not do such futile, vain and baseless acts.
