Aslaam alaikum
. I pray you are well. Forgive me for bothering you.

A Muslim curses and swears at the shaitan when he gets a bad thought. Sometimes when he gets good thoughts he still curses and swears at the shaitan. For example he might get a good thought like, ‘don’t trim your beard too much’ or ‘read some Quran’ etc. when he gets a bad or a good thought he swears at the shaitan and says to himself ‘I will do what I want to do.’
I think because he has got into a habit of cursing and swearing shaitan when he gets a bad thought, he now swears at the shaitan every time, even when he gets a good thought. Does swearing and cursing the shaitan after a good thought or any of the above mentioned make him a non Muslim?

Jazakallah

This is a totally ludicrous act. This person must seek spiritual help from a spiritual guide. Cursing has no value or benefit. These statements are close to Kufr.
