A person was travelling somewhere with his family when his 4 year old son had the urge to urinate. Not knowing where the closest toilet was, the person led his son away from the road into a grassy area. As his son started to urinate, the person noticed somebody’s crumpled up business card laying quite close to where his son was urinating. The card belonged to somebody named Mahmood. In order to avoid making a mess, the person did not stop his son from urinating but started to wonder if he and his son had unintentionally disrepected one of the names of the Prophet (SAW) as he wasn’t sure if Mahmood was one of his names. Later, the person checked on the internet and found that indeed Mahmood was one of the names. Was this incident disrespectful or blasphemous even though it was entirely unintentional and quite unavoidable?
