A sister was pregnant so people played a light-hearted game. The people playing the game said predict the gender of the baby and write it down on paper. Please note that the paper will presumably be checked upon the birth of the baby.
One of the brothers asked the sister whether she could feel the baby kicking so the sister said she couldn’t feel any kicking at that moment. As a result this brother then wrote down on the paper that he predicted that the baby would be a girl.
The brother did this with the mindset that knowledge of the future is only with Allah. The brother did not do this with the mindset that he knows for sure what will happen in the future. The brother knew that this prediction is just for the intention of the game and is not 100% certain to happen i.e. not like a fortune teller. The brother took part it in this game because everyone around him was having a light-hearted moment and he did not want to feel left out.
Is the brother still a Muslim?
