Permissibility of products containing animal sourced ingredients

Question ID: 19531

Assalamu alaikum
Mufti sahab
1- You will be aware of the fact that the soaps we use contain animal sourced ingredients, sourced from non-Zabihah animals and sometimes even pork. However, the Hanafi madhab allows the use of such soaps due to a certain Fiqhi principle.
My question is: that is it permissible to use the following products for external use if they have animal sourced ingredients?
a) Deodorants
b) Shampoo
c) Washing detergents for clothes/laundry
d)Lotions and creams
In case the answer to question 1)c) is “not permissible”, then please answer Question 2 as well.
2- I live in United States. Here I use a washing detergent which is free from animal sourced ingredients. However,it is very difficult to make sure that the detergent is free from animal ingredients when I am visiting family in Pakistan,in a hotel or staying with relatives. What should I do in this case?
