As salaamu alaykum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatuhu,
We are running an Islamic library, with the support of our Muslim community. Our library is in a process of rearrangement and thus we have the following query:
The library has multiple copies of many books, as a result one copy is used and the others are left aside. We intend reselling and swopping these extra copies with other Islamic libraries and individuals. Is this permissible? If not, kindly advise us on what should be done with these multiple copies.
