Slm’s respected Mufti, i would like to ask for maaf first in taking time out of your hectic schedule. i have one question & hopefully Mufti will be able to help me. i know it is not permissible for a woman to visit any grave but what about the graves of saint’s & the mazaars & darga’s of these pious people that i witnessed so many women go to. is that permissible? if yes can a woman recite the quraan or yaseen inside one of the mazaars visited…please help me maaf if this is a stupid question to ask but i need clarity.
jazakallah,
slms & dua’s.

The question is not stupid. One can sit at home and read Quraan etc, then make Duaa. There is no need to go to the grave site of the saints.
Currently what transpires at most Mazaars and dargas have got nothing to do with Islaam.
