Correcting other peoples sins and mistakes

Question ID: 27275

Asalaam mufti I’m confused on one hand it’s said we should look at ourself and not at other peoples sins mistakes bad habits but then on the other hand it says if we see a wrong we should correct with hand then mouth then heart
What do we do
Where do we stand as humans
Perfecting””” of one self is a lifelong job and other peoples actions can affect one of course the focus should be ourself but to what length can we admonish set others straight and say they don’t pay heed then?

If you have the ability, capability and capacity to stop the wrong with your hand or verbally than do so.
Otherwise feel hurt in your heart.
That is the sequence.
