Massallah pertaining to drawing up ones will

Assalaamu Alaikum Mufti,All my life I promised my son he will get the house when I pass away. I also promised my daughter she will receive money seeing I promised my son the house. My wife and daughter is happy with that.
a) Is this allowed.
b) Can I stipulate this in my will?

Give it to him whilst you are alive and put a clause that you and your wife will stay in that house rent free as long as you are both either one is alive.
