Mankind and Ruh

Question

Fellow layman say that the jerking and movements of an animal after its death is the extraction of its Rooh. Some go further and say: "Look at the hardship a mere animal faces when its Rooh is extracted. Now just imagine how hard it would be for us who are so sinful." Is this correct? I thought only mankind has Rooh

Movement, jerking, and sounds from the animal is a result of the gushing and release of the blood. It has nothing to do with 'Rooh'.
