A person arranged a party for his kids and their friends through a third-party, and although they were told before hand not to have a ‘magic’ show, somehow the show ended up happening. The so-called magician was obviously a trickster using sleight-of-hand tricks and specialized equipment to perform his ‘magic’ tricks to entertain kids. According to sharia, 1) if ‘magic’ is only trickery and illusions and not black magic involving the occult and devil worship, is it still haram ? Marked as spam
