Lailatun Noor Programme

Question ID: 17944

Please see advertisement below. Men will congregate and individually recite Qur’an in one night in the Masjid. This event now takes place regularly. Are such gatherings permissible? Should recitation not be done individually at home? Is there not a danger of Rita?

Laylatun Noor programme for men

Alhamdulillah, by the grace of the Almighty, we announce once again that a Laylatun Noor programme has been arranged for MEN.

Those guests who are intending to complete 3 or 4 recitations or who have a slow pace in recitation can stay over from Saturday 12 noon till Sunday 12 noon. Food will be provided, inshallah.

As parking facilities within Jaamia premises is limited, it will be strongly recommended if guests could come collectively in vans or coaches, rather than individual vehicles, to avoid any inconvenience.

(Brothers may bring their sleeping bags if they feel it is necessary)
