Khatam of quraan in ramadaan

Question

During ramadaan, if a person does not make khatam of the quraan but rather makes daur of whatever he has memorised of the quraan and  continues with further hifz, will he still get reward as if he did khatam the quraan?

He will not get the Sawaab for Khattam of Quraan but for Tilaawat as much made.
