Islamic ethos

Assalamu alaikum,
Respected Mufti Sahab, Sir, I came across a question and answer on your site the no.is 11360 posted on 7/6/2014 in the category Business and work. Here the answer given by you was : “Take the job and then create an Islaamic ethos”
Here I want to ask what do you mean by islamic ethos? As far as I can understand that when not getting a job until then do not keep beard and do not wear pants below ankle as this might offend the company who would interview you. Once when you get a job then think of keeping a sharie beard and applying sharie ahkams on one-self. Is what I understand is correct or you mean someting else by ISLAMIC ETHOS.
Please clarify and state clearly.
